Tektronix, Inc. , a leading worldwide provider of test, measurement and monitoring instrumentation, announced that its RSA6100A Series Real-Time Spectrum Analyzers received the Editor's Choice Award in Electronic Engineering Times-China (EE Times-China) Annual Creativity in Electronics (ACE) Awards for the most significant technical solution in the past 12 months. The inaugural EE Times-China ACE Awards recognize technology companies that enable the country's design engineers to develop advanced electronics.
The awards, sponsored by EE Times-China, received 224 entries from 83 companies. The editorial team of EE Times-China reviewed these entries to evaluate their impact on the electronics industry in China. Based on its unique capability and innovative features, the editors of EE-Times China selected Tektronix's RSA6100A real time spectrum analyzer for the Editor's Choice Award.
"The RSA6100A Real-Time Spectrum Analyzer stood out as the most significant technical solution in the last 12 months," said Yorbe Zhang, Editor in Chief of EE Times-China. "The RTSA's ability to visually display the live RF spectrum, showing the spectral activity in real-time, is a stunning engineering accomplishment and a critically important capability that will enable design engineers to develop RF based products with much greater confidence. The remarkable live RF innovation in addition to its other industry-leading capabilities made the RSA6100A a clear choice for top honors."
The RSA6100A series DPX™ waveform image processor technology uniquely transforms volumes of real-time data to produce a live RF spectrum presentation that reveals previously unseen RF signals and signal anomalies. Live RF is achieved by improving the spectrum measurement rate nearly 1000 times compared to the fastest swept spectrum and vector signal analyzers (VSA). The revolutionary live RF spectrum display provides an intuitive live color view of signal transients changing over time in the frequency domain, giving a user immediate confidence in the stability of their design, or instantly displaying a fault when it occurs. With live RF and an unmatched combination of real-time performance, 110 MHz capture bandwidth and 73 dB spurious-free dynamic range, the Tektronix RSA6100A series is the only real-time spectrum analyzer in the market designed to specifically solve Digital RF problems.
"We are greatly honored by this recognition from the editorial team at EE Times-China," said Rick King, Vice President, Real-Time Spectrum Analyzer Product Line, Tektronix. "The RSA6100A Real-Time Spectrum Analyzers were specifically designed to address the most demanding digital RF test challenges faced by design engineers in China and around the world by providing unique signal visualization capabilities. These capabilities uniquely enable engineers to directly view signal spectral characteristics that are critical to the proper operation of advanced wireless communications devices and networks."
