Tektronix Receives Second Consecutive SSPA STAR Award for Customer Service and Support
Tektronix is the Only Test and Measurement Company Receiving Award

Tektronix, Inc. , a leading worldwide provider of test, measurement and monitoring instrumentation, announced that it has received a STAR Award for 2007 from the Service & Support Professionals Association (SSPA), the largest and most influential association for technology service and support professionals, and the creators of Value-Added Support(SM). The STAR Awards recognize technology companies that display exceptional leadership, innovation, and commitment to service excellence. This marks the second consecutive year that Tektronix has received this recognition. Other recipients of the 2007 award include Approva, Cisco, Dell, HP, IBM, SAP, StoresOnline, Symantec, and Xerox.

The SSPA STAR Awards were initially awarded in 1989 and have become one of the highest honors in the service and support industry. The judging committee included members of the SSPA Advisory Board. Companies were evaluated on criteria including description of overall support model, the nature and types of assisted support offered, the nature and types of non-assisted support offered, key performance metrics, and customer satisfaction results and methodologies. Tektronix was the only test and measurement industry firm that received a SSPA STAR Award for service and support delivery.
