Tektronix, Inc., a leading worldwide provider of test, measurement and monitoring instrumentation, announced that it has signed an agreement with ChinaECNet, a leading electronics portal in China, to sponsor and help develop five electronics test and measurement courses for the Electronics Engineering & IC Technology Training Program, part of the China State Education Project for High-demand IT Talent, and organized and executed by ChinaECNet. The new courses include: High-Speed Serial Data Test and Measurement; Digital RF Test and Measurement; Embedded Systems Test and Measurement; Digital Video Test and Measurement; and TD-SCDMA Network Test and Monitoring. The courses will become available online beginning in spring, 2008.
The five courses sponsored by Tektronix will provide online training for basic principles, technology standards and measurement solutions, as well as practical lab assignments to reinforce key skills. Lecturers for these courses will be professors from leading Chinese universities such as Tsinghua University, Communication University of China, and Southeast University.
All engineers and students who attend and pass these courses will receive the "Training Certificate of China State Education Project for High-demand IT Talent," issued by the China State Education Project for High-demand IT Talent Office. The details of their training achievement will be recorded in the China High-demand IT Talent database.
