Tektronix, Inc., a leading worldwide provider of test, measurement and monitoring instrumentation, announced that Fuki Yoneyama has been appointed vice president of sales in Japan and will also assume the role of president for the Japan region.
In his new role, Yoneyama will be responsible for managing the sales and support of all Tektronix products, including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, real time spectrum analyzers, signal sources and video test and measuring instruments, as well as representing the company as a senior executive in the region. He will report to Neil Huddlestone, worldwide vice president for sales and service.
Yoneyama joins Tektronix from Panasonic, formerly Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. (MEI). He had been with Panasonic since 1979 and provided leadership in a variety of management roles, most recently as Group Director of Panasonic System Solutions. In that role, he managed the implementation of innovations in the business unit and created a new point-of- sale strategy.
Yoneyama holds a MBA from Columbia University and a Bachelors Degree in Political Science and Economics from Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan.
