National Taipei University of Technology Selects Tektronix Oscilloscopes to Train Talent for Computer Science and Information Engineering
Tektronix TDS3032C Oscilloscopes with 300MHz Bandwidth and 2.5GS/s Sample Rate to Help Students Develop Skills in Digital Logic Design

Beaverton , OR , Aug. 20, 2009 – Tektronix, Inc., a leading worldwide provider of test, measurement and monitoring instrumentation, announced that National Taipei University of Technology ( NTUT ) has purchased 14 TDS3032C oscilloscopes for its department of Computer Science and Information Engineering (CSIE). The Tektronix TDS3032C oscilloscopes will mainly be used to teach students the principles and application of digital logic design.

NTUT’s department of CSIE has a distinguished reputation in both teaching and research in the applied subjects of software systems, network systems and multimedia systems.

With 300 MHz bandwidth and 2.5 GS/s sample rate, the TektronixTDS 3032C oscilloscope delivers the performance to visualize fast-changing signals in a compact design. For NTUT, the most important benefits of the TDS3032C are its ability to accurately capture real-time signals with a minimum 5x over-sampling and to quickly capture and visualize glitches and infrequent events with its high waveform capture rate and intensity-graded display. These features enable students and professors to concentrate on the task at hand rather than spending too much time on debugging, repairing or re-learning how to use an oscilloscope.
