BEAVERTON, Ore., February 9, 2009 - Tektronix, Inc., a leading worldwide provider of test, measurement and monitoring instrumentation, announced that the University of Colorado at Boulder has selected 65 units of the Tektronix DPO3000 Series oscilloscopes for its Integrated Teaching and Learning Laboratory (ITLL), a key element of the school’s Integrated Teaching and Learning Program (ITL). The DPO3000 Series oscilloscopes will be used to complement over 60 lab stations that support hands-on test, measurement and design work of students across many undergraduate disciplines, such as electrical, mechanical, aerospace, and civil/environmental engineering.

The DPO3000 oscilloscopes have already brought key benefits to students with deeper record length on all channels enabling the capture of long time windows of signal activity with very high resolution, and easier connectivity via the front panel USB port enabling easier transfer of screenshots, setups and waveform data to a PC.
“Our Integrated Teaching and Learning Laboratory serves the entire campus with skill levels ranging from first time users to our senior technical engineering students and we’ve found the DPO3000 a perfect match to complement the full array of test and measurement equipment in our lab,” said the ITL staff member.
